We accept donated boats and use the proceeds to fund veteran programs such as mental health services, wellness programs, addiction recovery, homelessness prevention, and suicide prevention.
2. Eligibility to Donate
- You must be the legal owner of the boat or have authority to donate it.
- You agree to provide accurate information about the boat, including ownership documents if available.
- Boats are accepted nationwide, whether running or not, but acceptance is subject to review.
3. Donation Process
- By submitting your information online or by phone, you agree that our representatives may contact you by phone, text, or email to arrange pickup.
- Pickup is free, and we work with licensed towing and transport providers.
- We handle DMV paperwork where applicable; however, certain states may require limited involvement from the donor.
4. Tax Deduction
- Donations to Boats for Veterans may be tax-deductible under IRS rules.
- The final tax benefit depends on your individual situation and the sale value of the boat.
- We will provide the required IRS donation receipt, but we do not provide tax or legal advice. Please consult a qualified tax professional.
5. Use of Website and Services
